MANGO'S SURF LOUNGE

Mango’s Surf Lounge is owned and operated by Punta Mango Surf Trips and consists of 2 buildings. In the first, a surf shop, Mango’s Lounge (ground floor) + 4 guest rooms (2nd floor) all with ocean view and across the street from the beach. Each private guest room has 2 beds, surfboard racks, 2 fans- ceiling and side fan, and locking door. There is one shared bathroom on the second floor which is very clean. The rooms are basic but adequate. In 2004, the rooms will be fully a/c. There is a private terrace and lounge with hammocks only for guests and 24/7 security. This is an excellent and safe budget option especially for single travelers as there are always Punta Mango personnel present who are extremely helpful and able to respond to any inquiries.

In the second building is Mango’s Restaurant overlooking the beach, open from 8am to midnight with live music on Saturdays and excellent food. Mango’s Surf Lounge is a great option and an ideal gathering place where visiting surfers can watch cable TV, surf videos, rent surfboards, bicycles, play table games, buy souvenirs, or just hang and watch the world class waves of Punta Roca and Playa La Paz. There is no pool, however as a Punta Mango Surf Trips guest you will enjoy exclusive access to Fisherman's beach club (10 min. south) which has a large swimming pool and an excellent seafood restaurant. There you can spend the afternoon cooling off after the morning session.

Mango's Lounge Surfboard Rentals:

Used boards: $12.00 per day and $9.00 per day if rented for more than 3 days.

New boards and longboards: $16.00 per day and $13.00 if rented for more than 3 days.
