Coffee-brown water this morning... Swell was inconsistent with knee high waves at low tide at La Paz beach. Better to wait until the ocean cleaned up the water... - [Thomas]

Nice, consistent lines at La beach this morning (6.30am) with waves ranging from knee to waist high. Sea surface less choppy than yesterday, no wind and at this time no surfers out at La Paz beach. - [Thomas]

Sunday, 13 July 2003
Early in the morning, conditions at La Paz beach and Punta Roca were like during this week - so we decided to go to Km59
where we had really good surf. It started with a warm, sunny and sometimes windy (side-shore) morning when we got down to
the point break at Km59. Quite usual for a sunday morning - Km59 was a bit crowded (maybe 15-20 surfers). Relatively consistent, sets consisted of 3-6 waves with a couple of minutes in between and wave size ranged from almost knee high to sometimes 2-3 feet overhead. Outside of the point mostly close-out waves - of course - and sometimes came some left waves in the inside section of the point. Else, sea surface was choppy there. Back to La Libertad, noon and early afternoon (till 3-4pm) was really flat at high tide at La Paz. Conditions turned better after 4pm when it started to rain, too. It cleared up quickly and sunday's pictures show La Paz beach a bit later during the beginning sunset. To this time, sea surface was choppy and waves ranged from knee to shoulder high. - [Thomas]

Grey morning after a rainy night which changed ocean's colour to a muddy brown. Nice lines - between knee and chest high -  at low tide at La Paz tempted 5 surfers to go out, which was - obviously - fun. Else, sea surface was choppy and no winds. Have a nice weekend! - [Thomas]

Nice morning with some smaller - knee to waist high - but nice lines at La Paz. It was unusually difficult to get out at
La Paz - but once off to the line-up there was no disturbing current anymore. However, sets came relatively inconsistent at La Paz,
but at least better than the first days of this week - with almost clean sea surface and no winds... - [Thomas]

Swell improved over night - lots of waist to chest high waves at La Paz. Relatively consistent swells, no wind and almost
clean sea surface tempted around 7 surfers to La Paz this morning around 8.30am. - [Thomas]

Hello! There is like a kind of slack period when you see the size and quantity of waves at the moment - and that since
Friday / Saturday last week. Especially at Punta Roca wave size was quite good - mostly head-high - but swells came that
inconsistent with too much time in between the sets. La Paz was not better, but if you got the right wave at the right
place and the right time - knee-high to sometimes waist-high- it was still fun! Apart of that, choppy sea surface, no wind
few surfers out. - [Thomas]
